Many HR leaders do pretty well in their careers to reach up to senior leadership…GM or Dir or even VP level. But then, from there on they struggle to move up to the C-Suite or get a seat on the Board. Something changes at the edge of the C-Suite, and often HR is not able to make it!!
In our conversation today, Adil Malia, Chief Executive of The Firm, and ex-Group President HR of the Essar group, explains what happens at the Board, how it is different from the senior HR role under the CEO, and therefore, what the HR leader needs to do to get a seat at the Board!!
