Exam times are stressful not only for the children but also for parents. And, if you’re a working parent or if both parents are working, then the stress is compounded. In earlier days, stress was largely around the board exams of 10 and 12th standards, but nowadays, the stress is not only for these board exams, but parents start getting performance anxiety from standard 1 itself.
In today’s conversation on tips for parents around managing exams with and for their children, I draw on conversations that I’ve had with two teachers, and one parenting and life coach expert on their observations of parent behaviours; and some ideas that can help us as parents manage the process more effectively.
